The 4.0D™ Leadership Model is designed to prepare Leaders for future challenges emanating from the fourth industrial revolution – or Industry 4.0. The future of leadership will entail cyber-physical systems, cloud computing, the internet of things (IoT), and cognitive computing that will underlie the mechanisation and modernisation of work places. Future leaders will necessarily have to contend with increasingly complex decision making, while exercising emotional intelligence and simultaneously having impact and the ability to inspire, motivate and deal with this complexity in a volatile, uncertain, complicated and ambiguous world.
